At Peggy Bridal, we’ve always believed that bridal is for everyone.

That belief is what inspired our Peggy Model Search. We wanted our brides (and our followers) to truly feel seen. To see dresses on women like them. Real women. Different shapes, sizes, stories and journeys.

After receiving over 30 applications, we carefully selected a small group of incredible women to join us in-store. Our Holmfirth shoot took place at Peggy Bridal Holmfirth, where three amazing brides-to-be spent the day trying on gowns, stepping in front of the camera, and most importantly… embracing themselves.

The vibe? Relaxed, fun, and full of laughter (with a few emotional moments thrown in too).

Meet the Models

Maddie

Maddie, 24, is a 2028 bride-to-be with a love for travel and all things girly. As a hairdresser with a bubbly, fun-loving personality, she’s planning a beautiful destination wedding that reflects her adventurous spirit.

Wearing a UK size 14, Maddie brought such a natural energy to the day, effortlessly lighting up every dress she tried on.

When we asked her how she would describe the day in one word, she said:
“Confident… uplifted and confident. Ooohh that’s two words!”

Danielle

Danielle, 31, is a 2027 bride-to-be who proudly describes herself as a bit of a nerd - she works in a Pokémon card shop and completely owns it.

Confident and body-positive, Dani wanted to be part of the Peggy Model Search to represent fuller-bust women in bridal and show just how incredible wedding dresses can look on different body types.

Also a UK size 14, she brought confidence, humour, and authenticity to every moment.

When asked if she’d do it again, her answer said it all: “100%. In fact please can I?”

Amy

Amy, 30, is a 2028 bride-to-be balancing life as a trainee Operating Department Practitioner, step-mum, and future homeowner.

In her own words, life is “slightly chaotic but a really good chapter.”

As a fuller-figured woman, Amy shared that dress shopping had previously felt intimidating - but she wanted to be part of something that helps change that narrative.

Because bridal is for everyone.

Her transformation throughout the day was so special to witness, and when we asked how she felt, she simply said: “Uplifted!”

A Moment We’ll Never Forget

One of our favourite moments from the day? Recreating the iconic Friends sofa scene -three women, side by side, in their wedding dresses, laughing together.
It perfectly captured what the Peggy Model Search is all about: joy, connection, and feeling amazing in your own skin.
