You may have already seen that at the end of August we opened our Peggy Shop in York! Its location on Coney Street means it is easier than ever for our Brides to shop wedding dresses off the peg.
We are so excited to be in York! We wanted to take Peggy to York since we have seen the growing demand for brides wanting to buy sample dresses.
Not every bride has the lead time or the budget to order a new dress and we've seen first hand the switch here. We want to make wedding dress shopping even more convenient for brides whilst still giving them an amazing bridal experience that they'll never forget.
We love that brides are seeking a more sustainable way to shop their wedding dress without compromising on the style and quality. And by having a wedding dress shop in the middle of everything makes that so much easier for brides!
What to expect when you visit?
Just like at our Holmfirth store ,we want to make sure we are offering luxury dresses at a lower price point and the most important part providing an amazing Bridal experience by our Bridal Stylists.
Whether you pre book an appointment or have a walk-in appointment, your bridal appointment will run exactly the same as it does at our Holmfirth Peggy. You will have your own bridal stylist with you to help assist and support you in finding your dress and the appointment lasts 90 minutes.
At your appointment you will see the wide variety of dresses we have in sizes 6-22. In each dress size we have a range of fitted, A-line and ballgown dresses, so that brides aren't limited to just one style of dress.
We also sell veils, hair accessories, garters and jewellery so the bride can shop her entire look in one go.
We have a range of hair accessories and jewellery for the bride, bridesmaids, Mother of the bride and wedding guests to browse on the shop floor -
We are also excited to announce that recently we have started stocking a range of gorgeous scents available as either diffusers or candles. There's a choice of 3 different scents for you to try in store!
