When you start looking for your wedding dress, it can be very easy to get caught up in what everyone else thinks you should wear. Your mum has an opinion, your friends have an opinion, and suddenly you’ve got five different people telling you which dress they like best.
But at the end of the day, you’re the one wearing it.
Stay true to yourself and trust your gut. If you feel amazing in a dress, that feeling matters. If you’re not sure, that matters too. Don’t choose something just because everyone else loves it, and don’t rule something out because it wasn’t what you originally pictured yourself wearing.
Your wedding dress should feel like you, not somebody else’s idea of what a bride should look like.
So try the dress you love. Try the dress you’re unsure about. Listen to your bridal stylist, listen to the people you’ve brought with you, but most importantly, listen to yourself.
You don’t have to please everyone. You just have to feel completely, confidently you.
