Bride-to-be Jacqueline endured a five-hour round trip to visit after seeing us on social media –but it was worth every minute as she walked away with a beautiful designer wedding gown for just £599 – discounted from the full retail price of £2,500.
Mum-of-three Jacqueline, 40, is due to wed partner Daniel Bewick, 42, next year.
She visited our last Off-The-Peg flash sale with her twin ten-year-old girls and 15-year-old daughter, and said she was delighted to find her dream bridal dress, making the journey from Newcastle worth the effort as she fell in love with a designer gown after only trying three on.
“I first heard about Dotty Bridal and Off-The-Peg from social media, and they stocked the dresses I loved so I made an appointment,” she said.
“Amy knew exactly what I’d suit, and she chose my dress for me and I wasn’t that sure. But when I put it on I loved it and it fitted like a glove, as if it was made for me.
“I would have paid full price for a designer gown, so to get it for £599, well, I was very pleased. We are not getting married until November 2025, but I couldn’t not buy it there and then.”
Jacqueline is now encouraging others to try the ‘Off-The-Peg’ experience, which allows brides to take home designer dresses on the day they visit.
“They were fantastic with me, and with the girls. The staff were lovely and friendly and helpful,” she said.
